Reception Honoring FDOT Secretary

Groveland Works hosted a reception to honor Kevin Thibault, the Secretary for the Florida Department of Transportation. Thibault, a Groveland resident, was named Secretary of the FDOT by Governor Ron DeSantis. Philip Fulmer, Chairman (at that time) of Groveland Works, said, “Transportation issues are of huge importance within Groveland.  We have U.S. Highway 27, State Roads 50, 19 and 33, and the Florida Turnpike all running through Groveland, these are major roads with major traffic.  Having the Secretary of Transportation residing in Groveland is a major benefit.”
